Radically restful Sundays

Join me from the comfort of your own home for a Radically Restful start to your Sunday. This class is online, and will be recorded and sent to all participants afterwards, so if you can’t make this time, sign up anyway, and you will be sent the recording later the same day.

Each class will include:

-accessible yoga stretches which open up the body to the breath, taking you out of fight -flight-freeze and into the restful parasympathetic nervous system 

-restorative yoga postures, effortless postures allowing your body to completely release its grip 

-deeply restful yoga nidra to guide you to a place of peace and acceptance 

Also included:

Each week we will gently explore some yoga philosophy, teachings which can help you achieve a deeper sense of self awareness and understanding. Topics will include areas such as:

-avidya, or ignorance 

-dharana, or concentration 

-samsaras, or the idea of the cycle of life-death 

-pratyahara, or soulful retreat 

-aparigraha, or non-grasping 

Don't be intimidated by the idea of yoga philosophy - Mel aims to teach in a way which is gentle, accessible and pragmatic. By contemplating on yogic philosophy, we can open our minds to a higher perspective and open our hearts to a different way of living.

This class will bring a sense of union between your body, mind and soul, and leaving you feeling rested and closer to a sense of inner peace.
